Internationally renowned Executive Chef at Civico47, Matteo Zamboni and his wife Claudia have designed and built this stunning open-planned kitchen overlooking the breathtaking views of North Shore, Sydney.

Their goal was to create a glamorous yet functional kitchen that not only took advantage of the 180-degree views, but also make it the hub of the home. This was achieved by positioning the cooking zone on the large peninsula bench-top, so all the meal prep and cooking is done facing the room. They can now be part of the conversation, watch TV and keep an eye on the kids even as they cook.

Great care went into the selection of materials and appliances. Matteo and Claudia specified products that will not only last the test of time but look as beautiful as they are practical. Matteo's years of experience in some of the finest restaurants in the world have given keen insight into some of the leading brands in the kitchen and cooking industry. Hence why we at Schweigen are proud to have our Silent Ceiling Cassette featured in such a wonderful space.

Above the induction cooktop and teppanyaki grill is the impressively silent SCC1200-S ceiling cassette rangehood. This ceiling cassette is specifically designed to open up the kitchen and showcase all the wonderful views that this penthouse has to offer. It is powered by the German-made Isodrive® motor that is mounted externally on the roof - making this rangehood completely silent and incredibly effective indoors.

For greater ease and convenience, an intelligent third-party WIFI Integrated Smart Switch has been used to connect this Schweigen appliance to Google Home. It is entirely controlled by voice - so no more lost remotes or having to wash your hands before activating its controls.

Congratulations to the award-winning chef on creating such a beautiful space for his young family.
