South Melbourne DesignFest 2025 has officially ended - and what an inspiring, energising celebration it was. Schweigen was honoured to join 13 other trailblazing brands in the Open House Showcase, presenting the finest in modern design thinking, craftsmanship and innovation.
A Showcase of Quiet Luxury & Intelligent Design
Visitors enjoyed a firsthand look at the Schweigen Design rangehood collection - our most advanced expression of form and function yet. The display highlighted how gesture-control technology, effortless usability and truly silent air extraction can work together to elevate contemporary kitchen living. From sculptural canopies and refined finishes to whisper-quiet performance, the collection demonstrated how ventilation can be transformedi nto a design feature in its own right.
A Vibrant District Behind the Event
The South Melbourne Design District continues to be one of Australia’s most exciting hubs for architecture and interior design. Its network of showrooms, studios and retailers showcases high-end kitchen and bathroom products, custom cabinetry, cutting-edge materials and luxury appliances. It’s a magnet for architects, designers, developers and homeowners looking for inspiration - making it the perfect setting for this year’s DesignFest.
A Night of Connection, Creativity & Conversation
We are deeply grateful for the incredible turnout. Throughout the evening, we welcomed architects, designers and industry professionals into our showroom for product insights, live demonstrations and plenty of lively discussion. Guests enjoyed signature cocktails, great food and an atmosphere buzzing with energy.
Hands-on demonstrations of the Schweigen Design rangehood collection allowed visitors to experience the power, elegance and silence of our rangehoods up close. The showroom was filled with thoughtfu lconversations around new ideas in kitchen design. Our team was delighted to share insights, answer questions and connect with familiar faces and new friends alike.
