Customer Service Officer

Location: Mulgrave, VIC

Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Assisting customers and resolving issues predominantly via phone correspondence.
  • Communicating confidently and professionally on the phone to customers and suppliers.
  • Assisting with administrative duties.

We're looking for someone who loves everything customer service! Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll be part of our highly regarded Service Department team. This is an exciting and fast paced role where you'll be growing your skills, knowledge and responsibilities.

Here's the brief:

You'll be taking care of customers going above and beyond to ensure they remain happy. Consequently, we're looking for a customer service legend…. someone who loves to coordinate (technicians with customers), entering and maintaining customer and parts requests into our system, helping with promos and ensuring smooth integration from customer request to the end result. You'll be representing the business providing seamless resolutions.

Whilst we're looking for candidates with exceptional phone customer support, actual appliance industry experience is not essential.


  • An ability to analyse complaints/issues to identify root cause and make necessary recommendations for process changes.  
  • Effectively evaluate inbound calls and emails to ensure that an accurate assessment and best resolution for each situation, is provided to the Customer.
  • Responsible for online daily service requests. Retrieving and actioning requests.
  • Responsible for maintaining customer records and service database. Ensuring it’s all up to date.
  • Make outbound calls to inform Field Service Engineers of work schedules and to keep Customers informed of order progress. Seamlessly customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all customers are contacted and kept up-to-date at all times regarding their claim.
  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting with customers and field service technicians.

To be considered for the role, the requirements include:

  • 1 years’ experience in a phone customer service role
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to solve problems quickly
  • A proactive and autonomous thinker
  • Excellent time management, coordination, and attention to detail
  • Flexible and can-do attitude
  • Calmly work quickly under pressure
  • Well organized and self-motivated
  • Multitask at speed, whilst willing to take on new tasks
